Club Lamb Workshop

On Friday and Saturday, May 1st and 2nd, 2009 we will be hosting a CLUB LAMB WORKSHOP!  Bring your market lamb and learn about feeding, shearing and showing.  There will be live demonstrations and the opportunity to get hands-on practice if you bring your own animal.  Bring your new 2009 poster for the Poster Contest.  A Raffle will be held at the end of Saturday with some wonderful prizes - a new trimming stand and sheep related items.  There will also be a New/Used Equipment Sale by the members.

This year the format will be a bit different with the workshop starting Friday afternoon and beginning right away with shearing, continuing with a dinner and a ‘slumber party’ with games and movies.  Camping space is available for those who do not wish to sleep in the building.  Saturday will include breakfast, selecting, feeding, caring for and showing a lamb.  Lunch is provided.  The afternoon will have a few judging classes with awards going to the high individuals and then a showmanship contest.
