On Saturday, May 21st, 2011 we will be hosting a SHEEP SCHOOL 2011! We will have sessions on meat and marketing, meat cutting, type selection, handling and shearing techniques, market lamb showing, and wool processing. Top industry representatives will be guest speakers and ready to answer your questions.
This year the format is open to everyone: youth, adults, those wanting to learn more and those just getting started! This will be a very hands-on day from selecting to showing. Lunch is provided. A Raffle will be held at the end of Saturday with some wonderful prizes - a new trimming stand and sheep related items. Come ready to learn!
This event will take place at Stanwood High School with check-in beginning at 8:00 AM. For more information or to register contact Mona Lisa Pettersson at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
